Honest Poetry in a Whirlwind of Words

Storm is a collection of honest poems born from chaotic notes on my phone. These raw thoughts were transformed into poems, each capturing a feeling from the whirlwind inside my mind.

The process of creating this booklet was a deeply personal one. The poems started as random notes often written in moments of confusion, frustration, or clarity scattered across my phone. They were never meant to be polished or perfect; they were simply the raw material of my thoughts, unfiltered and honest. But as I looked back at them, I realized they told a story. A story of quiet self-reflection, and of moments where I felt both lost and found.

I chose white for the design because it represents the emptiness, silence, and vulnerability I felt when writing. It’s open, just like sharing personal emotions. The space around the words is as important as the words themselves. It allows the poems to breathe. The movement of the words on the pages reflects my shifting thoughts. They’re not neat or static they overlap, slide, and sometimes tumble off the page. This captures the chaos of my mind, the constant flow of feelings and ideas that often feel overwhelming.
